Ariel's Compromise Congrats IV - Final Families
The Overall Pairing Process
You may have already seen my spreadsheet but I'll link it again if you're interested: (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1N7qKkWiaPGGaQ6iDudWLJwJFSxRSLBMQ8_PRvf7qMRw/edit#gid=0). I charted the information you all gave me on there. I then went to namenerds.com and used your "ten names you like" lists to extrapolate your "naming profile." You can take the actual quiz for that here if you're interested: http://www.namenerds.com/uucn/namequiz.html. There's seven categories: Classic Conservative (e.g. Mary and David), Classic Unusual (e.g. Audrey and Henry), Classic Eccentric (e.g. Penelope and Julius), Classic Outmoded (e.g. Janet and Bob), Modern Conservative (e.g. Lauren and Dylan), Modern Unusual (e.g. Willow and Brennan), and Modern Eccentric (e.g. Storm and Truman). Each category has a list of names that fit the style. So I cross-checked the "10 names you like" lists on there, and made my best guess when a name wasn't on any of the lists. Their categories are a tad dated as they were designed almost 20 years ago, but it gave me a starting point for how to compare name tastes.I also compared favorite & least favorite names from the top 10 names most added to BtN personal name lists & most popular in the U.S. I avoided pairing people who had opposing favorites/least favorites, and took it as a slightly good sign if people's matched. I also used those answers to avoid putting "least favorites" in people's namebanks.

For boys, you both seemed to primarily like Eccentric names, as well as a mix of Classic and Modern. You both had surnames that aren't usually used as first names in your boys' names you liked list. You did somewhat disagree on favorites/least favorites, but I thought you fit well together anyway. :P

One of you had Alexander in your names' you liked, and the other of you had Alexander as their favorite of 2015 top 10 boys. Both of you put Jasper as a least favorite. DS: Drake Russell Shaw

Looking at the names you liked in general, you still seemed to fit together. Both of you had word names for girls in your names that you liked. In your boys' names that you liked, you both had a lot that came from surnames - you even both had -son names. One of you liked a lot of unisex names for boys and the other of you liked Logan, which is vaguely unisex. :P

Your girls names you liked were overwhelmingly Eccentric, and mostly Classic. You both put Margot as a name you like. Relative to other players, you seemed to have rarer names that you liked. One of you had a girls' name from Literature that I'd never seen before, and the other had ones from Mythology & one from Arthurian Romance.
