Eliora and Sebastian are newlyweds, living in Tel Aviv, Israel. Eliora is an aspiring novelist who pays the bills by writing articles for a local newspaper. She's Jewish, the daughter of Jewish Russian immigrants to Israel in the 90s, and is fluent in Russian and Hebrew. She met Seb, then a medical student from Scotland, now a fully-fledged doctor, 3 years ago, just after she was discharged from her time in the IDF. The two dated for a few years and recently tied the knot. They can't wait to start their new lives together, even if Seb's convinced the Israeli heat will be the death of him!

Little Asa was an easy pregnancy, and when he's born in October he proves to be a bundle of joy. His eyes are a perfect mixture of Eliora's and Seb's, and all the family coo over him constantly.

Perhaps Eliora & Seb celebrated the arrival of the twins a bit too enthusiastically because a year later they find themselves welcoming identical triplets, two girls and a boy. Eliora hates to leave her husband and her 6 young kids, but she travels to Japan for a month in order to write a special feature for the newspaper. The kids all miss her terribly, and although he doesn't admit it, so does Seb, but when she returns they're all the more affectionate, and Eliora produces an excellent piece of writing.

The Sinclairs are a little surprised when they welcome Tamir - he's the first child out of seven to have Seb's bright red curls, and no one's quite sure where his deep brown eyes came from! However, all the kids love fussing over the baby, who's pretty good-natured about it all, and Eliora melts a little every time she sees his tiny curls.

After much nagging from Asa, backed up by the twins, the Sinclairs get a ball python as a pet. Asa promptly names him Fluffy, to much hilarity from the whole family, and although Natan is deathly afraid of him, Fluffy really is a sweet snake.

A year after adopting Avia, the Sinclair family moves to Rome, Italy, due to an attractive job offer for Seb. It's difficult for the whole family - although they speak English, and Hebrew, and a fair bit of Russian, none of them knows any Italian. It's hard for the kids to adapt to their new home, especially hard for them to make friends, and Eliora finds work writing for a small Russian-language newspaper. However, everyone's delighted that they got to take Sticky and Fluffy to Italy with them!

Eliora doesn't really get much satisfaction out of writing for a very small newspaper, so she founds her own business - one focused on making all aspects of moving country easier. She provides advice, contacts, and services to those making a huge move, like she did, and it doesn't do too badly. However, it means she has very little free time!

In 2035, the family's beloved lizard, Sticky, dies, and Asa, in particular, is hit hard by the loss. However, two months later they adopt a lively chocolate labrador puppy, who the kids call 'Bau' - the Italian for 'woof'. The older kids especially have found it hard to adapt to life in Italy, and their Italian is far from perfect. Tamir and Avia speak pretty good Italian though, and all the kids have made at least a few friends.

Asa nearly explodes with joy when the triplets are born, and Gavriel and Orli certainly wouldn't mind more company in the form of Rona, Miriam & Natan.

Eliora hates to leave her husband and her 6 young kids, but she travels to Japan for a month in order to write a special feature for the newspaper. The kids all miss her terribly, and although he doesn't admit it, so does Seb, but when she returns they're all the more affectionate, and Eliora produces an excellent piece of writing.

The Sinclairs are a little surprised when they welcome Tamir - he's the first child out of seven to have Seb's bright red curls, and no one's quite sure where his deep brown eyes came from! However, all the kids love fussing over the baby, who's pretty good-natured about it all, and Eliora melts a little every time she sees his tiny curls.

After much nagging from Asa, backed up by the twins, the Sinclairs get a ball python as a pet. Asa promptly names him Fluffy, to much hilarity from the whole family, and although Natan is deathly afraid of him, Fluffy really is a sweet snake.

As the Sinclairs welcome the new decade, an elderly aunt who Seb hadn't thought about in years passes away. She leaves a fair amount of money to him, and the money is greatly appreciated, because although both Eliora and Seb have well-paid jobs, 7 kids isn't cheap!

Eliora and Seb decide to adopt a little girl from Britain - 2-month-old Avia. Her young mother put her up for adoption, and she has the same striking red hair as Seb. Everyone's very excited by the new arrival, and a little intrigued by her as well.

A year after adopting Avia, the Sinclair family moves to Rome, Italy, due to an attractive job offer for Seb. It's difficult for the whole family - although they speak English, and Hebrew, and a fair bit of Russian, none of them knows any Italian. It's hard for the kids to adapt to their new home, especially hard for them to make friends, and Eliora finds work writing for a small Russian-language newspaper. However, everyone's delighted that they got to take Sticky and Fluffy to Italy with them!

The first house they moved into in Rome proved to be pretty small, so the Sinclairs move into a bigger, 5-bedroom house, and the kids love all the extra space (and Asa appreciates having his own bedroom, rather than sharing with the triplets)

Eliora doesn't really get much satisfaction out of writing for a very small newspaper, so she founds her own business - one focused on making all aspects of moving country easier. She provides advice, contacts, and services to those making a huge move, like she did, and it doesn't do too badly. However, it means she has very little free time!

In 2035, the family's beloved lizard, Sticky, dies, and Asa, in particular, is hit hard by the loss. However, two months later they adopt a lively chocolate labrador puppy, who the kids call 'Bau' - the Italian for 'woof'. The older kids especially have found it hard to adapt to life in Italy, and their Italian is far from perfect. Tamir and Avia speak pretty good Italian though, and all the kids have made at least a few friends.

The Sinclairs add a pet canary called Cip ('cheep' in Italian) to their household, because when it's this busy, who's going to notice? Avia in particular forms a bond with the little yellow bird, and Cip's song always brightens up the house.
