Shawn and Emilia met in a very odd place—on an escalator at the mall! They had been on their way to the same store, so they ended up shopping together; Shawn even paid for the both of them. Emilia’s mom disapproved of Shawn at first because he wasn’t Catholic, but she relented upon meeting him after the proposal. They’ve been married for 21 years now and are the proud parents of three girls (Lydia, 20; Brittney, 19; and Chelsea, 13) and a boy (Hunter, 15).
