FAMILY PROFILEAlice Marian (Shields) Frost 36
Alice grew up in a college town in rural USA, and she was sheltered from the hardships plaguing her area for many years of a happy childhood. The younger of two siblings with little extended family in the picture, Alice always felt like the odd one out due to her age, especially during early childhood. However, her exposure to more mature adults shaped her own maturity and, due to the influence of older friends and relatives, she grew up to be strong willed and passionate in her views. She went to a local college where she participated actively in debate and studied abroad Junior year to meet Oliver. Bonded immediately by their shared love for debate and political activism, the two became fast friends and dated for five years before eventually marrying. Now Alice is a proud mother of two beautiful children and she enjoys her day job, as a high school Humanities teacher, immensely as well. She can’t wait to start a new chapter in her life by adopting a little child in need of a home. Oliver Idris Frost 36
When Oliver was a newborn he was put up for adoption by young, college-student parents (Indian and Eritrean respectively) who couldn’t keep him due to cultural standards. His Welsh adoptive parents, Arthur and Teresa Frost, raised him an only child with so much love he never felt any less than a biological child. Always a mischievous little fellow, Oliver frequently got in trouble in school despite his excelling in all his courses and his misdeeds almost cost him a place in his dream college. Luckily his grades saved him and he went to college a little less keen on his pranks. On study abroad in Ireland his Junior year he met Audrey, the most breathtakingly beautiful girl he had ever seen. After a slow period getting to now each other, Oliver and Audrey dated for the rest of their college lives and into adulthood. They finally married when they were 26 and they welcomed their first child, Everard, when they were 28. Oliver is a well payed financial analyst, but he loves being a dad more than anything. His kids are his prides and joys and he can’t get enough of the simple pleasures they have taught him. Now that they’re well into their early years, he and his wife have made the decision to adopt and give new children a loving family just like Oliver’s parents did oh so long ago.Everard James Frost 8
Everard, sometimes called by the nickname Dev, is the first child and only son of Audrey and Oliver Frost. Now 8 years old, he plays soccer for a local youth team and excels in his schoolwork, but what he really enjoys is spending time with his family. For him, the most precious moments are the annual trips to someplace new, the hikes in the nearby woods, the holiday celebrations, etc. Don’t mistake him as being too peaceful though, Everard picked up the mischievous trait from his father and enjoys pulling quite a few pranks at school. He and Morwenna are very close and they are positive that their bond will extend to fit a new sibling as well.Morwenna Lucy Frost 7
Morwenna Frost is the nature lover of the family. Although her parents and brother enjoy the great outdoors, their affection for it does not compare to her undying love for the natural world. Morwenna loves going out to explore, run around on the local beaches and just generally be one with the elements. Her tendency to run off outside can be dangerous but other than that her family lets her do what she love and Audrey especially loves the wildflowers she picks for the dinner table every night. Morwenna, like her brother, is very smart and does well in school when she puts in the effort.Family location: The Isle of Skye, Scotland
