Tbh, I think it's too much at once. No one has time to sit down and dedicate an hour to one post.
In round 2, I added 29 children so by round three, that would be adding twenty nine new families each with probably multiple children each. Assuming each family had only two children, that's still 58 families to add in the following round. And it becomes stressful.
Maybe try this game again, but don't allow it to expand so much each round.
In Round 2 alone, the finished product on my family looked fairly simple, but it had taken me 40 minutes or so to complete and each round is only going to get longer and more difficult so it becomes more frustrating than fun. Break it up and you tip the game back into the fun side side of the spectrum and people will respond again.
Maybe expand only a few children/families at a time.
