What about the name Durham?
I know it's used as a last name and there are towns and county's named Durham, but apparently it's not used as a first name. It's not listed in any Baby name books as far as I know. What I do know is that it is an English name. I named my son Durham, after his grandmother's maiden name. I am just wondering has any one else used it as a first name? Thanks!!

Yeah, it's tucked up there somewhere around Newcastle (home of The World's Best Beer), I think.Durham, incidentally, was originally Dunholm, "island with a hill". I've not hard it as a first name, but it's quite common in this county as a surname.- Da.
