Gonzalez - that's easy. But Aseal?
Gonzalez = son/daughter of Gonzalo. According to http://tiempolibre.ciudadfutura.com/genealogia/nombres.cfm Gonzalo means genius of the land (Germanic). Or check Mike's explanation --> Gonzalo. I can't find anything for Aseal, though. Are you sure it is Spanish? Doesn't sound like it.

Well, I think my daughter may have miss spelled it. I have found ASAEL-which is hebrew but not sure of the meaning or root. And also it could be AZEAL. Pronounced : [As](short a)/[a] long a/[el](with a short e) Any information you could give me would be helpful.
