Re: Name Help
in reply to a message by Lissa
Tell the mother-in-law to butt out, and name the child Abigail Grace. Which in my opinion go together beautifully. Adding Kelly or subbing it in there makes the name sound unsmooth. I know that's not a word, but you get what I'm saying. :) Why is the mother-in-law insisting that Kelly be added, anyways?
Tell your friend good luck.Sarahjeanne

The reason she wants Kelly in the name is because it has been that way for, something like, three or four generations.
I'll be sure to tell my friend that she should stick with Abigail Grace. Thanks :)

Please God let me never be such an interfering mother-in-law! I hope your friend stops the three or four generation tradition now before her daughter is put in a similar predicament when choosing the names of her children.

Tell your MIL that, if she wants to name a child Kelly because it's been a tradition for four generations, she should either adopt a child or have another one of her own and butt out of the naming.Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)

Have to agree with Sarahjeanne - Abigail Grace sounds nice.
