Kagnie. I only know that it is a female name. It sounds to me like a surname being used as a first name. I like it. I do not know its origin though.

Is this a variation of "Cagney"?

As in the television series "Cagney and Lacy"?

I've gotta say that I don't care for it as a girl's name at all. Sounds like you're hauking up phlegm.
