Re: what's in a name
I've been going through my life spelling my name out to everyone. People don't seem to comprehend that it's AGATHA without the H. It's not only the spelling but also the pronounciation!! I used to find it really annoying and frustrating... but now, I don't really mind. It's actually kinda nice to be the ONLY Agata at my school and not one of the dozens of Sarah's and Kate's. I say, GO FOR THE UNIQUE NAMES... as long as they're not too extreme.

It doesn't bother me at all to be one of the "dozens of Sarah's". I enjoy seeing poeple with the same name as me, and seeing how different we are. It's different now, because I'm out of school, so I don't encounter as many, but I still enjoy it nonetheless.Sarahjeanne

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone! :)

Oh, you didn't offend me at all, I was just saying that it doesn't bother me at all. No worries. :) I do have to say that I don't like it when there's a Sarah that I don't like, then I don't think it's fair that she gets to use MY name. ;)Sarahjeanne
