It's the old trade-off: originality versus tradition...
It's hard to find both in one name. Personally, I'd give up a little orginality for a smidgen of tradition and history.

Agata / Agatha is not too much an "original" name, it's old and not used very much in North America.

Yeah, you're right Agata.....Just because a name is unusual or uncommon, doesn't mean it has no history. Seems to me your name has the best of both worlds!

My Name is Venissa Too.I also was wondering why my mother would spell my name that way but i have really found an excuse. I like it, cause it's different. So your not alone.VLW.
