i like dragons a lot, so im interested in ur story, but as for the name
Zuo is a chinese word meaning dragon, and heres some names of different species, maybe one will inspire u
Lung is another chinese word for a dragon in china, and there are four types of Lung, they are:
Tien-lung - the celestial dragon (tien means sky, and makes a great name)
Shen-lung - the spirtual dragon (shen makes a cool name, buts its also a nickname for the female name Shannon, and means 'evil in another language)
Ti-Lung - the earth dragon (Ty is a popular name, from the name Tyler)
Futs-lung - the underworld dragon

Faerie Dragon - ok this one doesnt help all to much, but these were little mini dragons, that looked more like giant butterflies, or faries
Wyvern - These dragons had two wings and only two legs, its a european dragon, it had a stinger on its tail, much like a scorpian (Wyvryn, a play on the word Wyvern means also 'jewelled valley' a fabelled place of the dragons (Nordic Mythology)
Hydra - classified as a dragon, these greek creatures sometimes had wings, and legs, sometimes not, and had multiple heads
Pernese Dragon (my favourite) - from Persia of course
Drake - only legs, no wings, a westren dragon
Amphiptere (Am-fih-teer) - no legs, only wings, these are mexican, the most popular Amphitere was Quetzalcoatl (kwet-zah-coat-al), u might notice this is a similar word to the bird the Quetal, which when flying looks like as serpant with its two feet long green tail feathers
Wyrm - (not a dragon to me, but w/e) - no legs, no wings, also know as the Guivre (Gy-veer) ok so i think thats a cool name... Guivre,
Lindworm - (maybe the name Lindsey) two legs, no wings, first discovered and recorded by Marco Polo!!!
Sea serpents... no interesting names here so ill skip it
Ouroboros - always holds its tail in its mouth, first found in Egypt, then Greece
Midgard Serpent - from norse mythology, a dragon that incompased the world and held its tail in its mouth
Amphisbaena (Ahm-fiz-bee-nah) - this dragon had a head on its neck, and on its tail, an african dragon
Naga - an indian dragon (east indian) with the bodys of a serpent, and the head of a human

I looked around and couldn't really find anything that meant specifically "dragon" but I'd suggest Phineas which means "serpent's mouth", or perhaps from mythology Abas which meant "lizard". Another longshot--Ceto which means "sea monster". Hope this helps--good luck with your story! =^)
