i looked all through your site to figure out what my name means. i searched everone in my classes owns and not a single name was there that was Gariele. maybe i'm the only one in the world with that name.

You're not alone. If you'll enter "Gariele" into the www.google.com search engine, you'll find quite a few females in Germany, Italy, and even The Netherlands with your name.
Unfortunately, I couldn't identify the original nationality or meaning, despite going onto German and Italian name sites. If you look through "Google" and find an e-mail address for one of your naemsakes, I'd try contacting her directly with your question. Good luck!
