The name MARGIEN is Dutch feminine and I have found it on genealogy lists but can't find the meaning. Help.

See if this could work - perhaps going to the parental generation in your lists:

MAR from Maria, Mart(h)a or Margarete, variously spelt, plus GIEN from Regina

It's a likely-sounding hybrid! Let us know if you come up with anything.
