Re: What are the meanings and countries of origin for these names?
Bauer is German for "farmer". Storm is English w/ the same origin as the German equivalent "Sturm".

Storm can be German too. A famous bearer of this name was 19th century writer Theodor Storm from the town of Husum in Northern Germany.
