Info on the name Remebrance
In a book a read a couple of years back the ladys name was Remembracne. I have tried to find the meaning of the name and unable to come up with anything. I think it is from the 1800s.

Remembrance is a word-name. It has various senses, but the main meanings are "keepsake, souvenir" or "memorial". The two links below give more specific information on the origins and meaning of the word.http://www.answers.com/remembrance
http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=rememberI've never heard of it being used as a name before, but there are quite a lot of once-off word names out there. They were more common in earlier centuries, particularly amongst Puritan families.
