seems like all you have to do is put a 'y' in a name and all of a sudden it is feminine.I've seen, as an example "I liek Davyd for a gurl, see the y makes it gurly" (misspelling intentional)

i use to post at a baby name forum and we would joke around about this alot. i want to give our children family names when we have them. but we don't have alot of feminine names. so, i said (jokingly of course) why not just add a few 'y's and it will be feminine. my husband's father was named Roland Nilson. for a boy i am very settled on Rolandd, but if we have a girl first it would be nice to name after him also. so i thought we could use Nylsanne or Rolynn. pretty sick, huh? i would not really do that. i can find a real name
