WAFFA:I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF RACHEL OTHER THAN IN THE BIBLE IT IS THE NAME OF JACOB'S BRIDE (THE SISTER HE TRULY LOVED AND ORIGINALLY WORKED SO MANY YEARS BEFORE SHE BECAME HIS WIFE). SPELLING TRANSLATIONS BETWEEN LANGUAGES IS DIFFICULT AT BEST AND WHEN ENGLISH IS INVOLVED IT CAN BECOME EVEN MORE COMPLICATED BECAUSE ENGLISH IS A HODGEPODGE OF EVERY LANGUAGE KNOWN TO MAN. THERE ARE A LOT OF STRANGE SPELLINGS AND NAMES COMMING OUT IN THE WORLD. SOME NAMES LIKE RACHEL WHICH WERE VERY COMMON HAVE BEEN CHANGED SO MUCH IN ENGLISH LETTERS IT IS HARD TO RECOGNIZE THEM HOWEVER, THAT COULD BE A LINGUAL LEFTOVER WE DO NOT RECOLLECT TOO.JUST CURIOUS CLAIRE: WHAT ARE ALL THAT AFTER THE MY'S IN YOUR RESPONSE?MS. They're punctuation pets. Whenever someone overuses punctuation (i.e., "What does Kelly mean?????"), those punctuation marks are said to be abused. We rescue them and put them up for adoption to good homes.P.S. My own question marks helped with my Kelly example. They were quite willing to do so for the sake of their brethren, so no punctuation was harmed in the making of this post.
