I would like very much to have information about the name -Gael-. As far as I know it is irish in its origins, but I've been unable to find it in any name's list or anything. It would be very useful to find its origin, meaning or if any historical or mythological characters have that names. Thanks for the help in this matter!

Gael is a male name from Brittany, either from "gael", name of a people established in Ireland during the Vth century BCE, or from German element "walah", stranger.
