Teena does not mean "person from Mars". It is a variation of Tina, which usually comes from Christina, meaning "Christian". (click any of the hyperlinks for more info).
If you want the name added to the database, it's probably enough just to have posted it here, but if you want to be sure, go to the "Submit a Name" link on the main page and follow the instructions there. However, you must be patient: it can take a year or so for names to be added.
