Urinde?
One of my friends is hosting a German exchange student named Urinde, and I am wondering what the origin of this name is, because I can't find it on the site. Thanks!

gratification comes from the doing, not the results.

Could her name possibly be JORINDE (yohRINdeh)? There is a German fairy tale called "Jorinde und Joringel" (written down) by the Brothers Grimm. The derivation of Jorinde is uncertain, some suspect a connection to Georg or Gregor.(Joringeln by the way is not used as a given name in Germany, as far as I know.)
