my father told me, before he passed away, that the falzon family originated from aragon, north west of spain.
there are 3 coats of arms associated with this name - i shall send you copies.
the name falzon can be found in the aragonese site, and there is a connection to malta through a number of families.
many apparently came down from france and italy also
dont know if this helps - but its a start.
i have been searching myself - let me know if you find out anything meaty
