Tjaard is a combination of "diet" 'the people' and "wardan" 'to protect', so it means the protector of the people.click NicolaasSwanepoel is a combination of Swane, a different spelling of "Zwanen" which means 'Swans' in Dutch and Poel which means 'puddle' it's like a little lake, so it means Swanpuddle I believe in equality for everyone, except reporters and photographers.
