Hi Kina,
In Holland, the name Kina comes from names ending on -kien, which is a Dutch diminutive ending. Examples are: Hendrikien, Freerkien, Jopkien.
In some other countries (eg Scandinavian countries) Kina is a short form for Kristina and Katarina.
