Message: "Elco?" - Behind the Name

Has anyone heard the name Elco? My male friend and his father carry this name and none of us know of it anywhere else. They are Mexicans and don't know its heritage either.

Hi Summer,

There's a Frisian name Elko which is the male form of Elke (1).
