Hi,I just ran into them on another namingsite..but there wasn't any origin/meanings added, so i thought i'd ask you guys!Only like i said before it's Yalisa not Yaliksa....so..

Well, in that case, there's Yelisei, Russian form of Eliseo so I can see Yalisa as a form of Yelisaveta - Yelisa to Yalisa? That's my best guess on that one - sorry! We need a Russian expert ;o)Devon

Thanks on this one already! you've came further than me! do you know anything about the meanings of Yelisei/Yelisaveta/Eliseo??Too bad we don't have someone Russian here..

Yelisei and Eliseo are from Elisha, Hebrew precurser of Elijah.Yelisaveta is Elizabeth so 'God is my satisfaction' is the strictest meaning but the more popularly-referred-to one is on the database.HTH! I know one really brilliant Russian person but she's a Barrister in London and I'm not sure I could talk her into 'joining' us here LOL Worth a try though....Devon
