I adore Ivy, Agnes and Isadora, though for me, I prefer the spelling Isidora (also adore Isidor for a boy). Eleonora is also pretty, but I prefer Eleonore. I am more keen on Georgiana than Georgina, though I like Georgina as well. Mary Celeste is pretty, but I'd sooner go with Mary Cecily. As for Augustine, I definitely prefer Augusta (family name).Casper used to be my favorite male name, but if fell out of favor with me for some reason. Etienne is pretty, maybe too pretty for my taste. Love Oscar, Otto and Louis. Hugh I am on the fence about. I *think* I like it.Nice list :)

thank you!I'm glad that BtN's "Realistic Rita" sees Casper as a name with merit and not a silly choice! :)I agree that Etienne is a little frilly, but it has had such a spell over me for most of my life, and it's a family name - I know you'll understand the love of the family names :)Also Agnes: I've recently started liking this because it is the name of my oldest ancestor (the farthest back I can go on my tree), Marie Agnes, which I find so romantic and meaningful. I don't quite know what to do with it though because next to the other names I like, it looks so unfairly frumpy and unattractive. I just don't know how to make my Agnes shine like she should.

thanks!I found my old high school genealogy project and was reading over my family tree, most of which is very French (I'm also largely Dutch, but don't have any info on that, boo), and decided I really liked some of the stuff on there! It's such a bonus when you can claim familial rights to names, isn't it?! I love it.
