We named our daughter Erowyn in 1979. It was a combination of the names Arwen and Eowyn from the Lord of the Rings. At the time we knew of no other exact spellings.

Some..Aberdeen is a city in Scotland. From Gaelic aber "river mouth" and Don the name of the river on which Aberdeen is located.Absinthe is liqueur, also known as wormwood.Arusha is a city in Tanzania, Africa. Don't know the meaning.Assyria was an ancient kingdom located in what is now Iraq. Its name was derived from its capital city Asshur.Pezaine was the name of an 8th-century saint also known as Perseveranda or Pecinna. Cannot find any info on the name itself.Salamanca is a city in Spain.Vianca looks similar to Bianca. Some baby name websites claim it is a Spanish form of Bianca.
