Re: question about Callista/Kallista spelling
The Greek language has its own alphabet which has to be transliterated into our alphabet. Normally the Greek letter kappa, which looks like a K, is written in English as K. However, the name Kallista/Callista seems to have come down to us through Latin, which did not use K but rather C. You could make a case either way. If you want the name to resemble the Greek lettering (Καλλιστα) as closely as possible, then use Kallista. If you connect it more with the Romans, then Callista.

Thank you! MY DH says if we were use it, he'd go with a C, but I actually like the way it looks with a K. Not sold on the name change yet but I need all the info I can get.
