Margot Anais "Meg"?
Thoughts on this combo, and on the names in their own right? What kind of image, if any, do they evoke? Thanks!

Margot Anais is cool, literally. It's a cold combo. I quite like it. Meg on the otherhand is cosy and warm, so it makes for an interesting contrast. The only thing is, I don't really buy Meg as a nn for Margot. Maggie comes at a stretch for me. My mother is Margot, and no one ever calls her anything but Margot. *shrug*

Why would you want to ruin Margot with Meg?

I think it's a sophisticated combo, if somewhat chilly. I love both Margo(t) and Meg. While I don't love Anais, I think it works well as a middle name. Meg is one of my favorite Margaret nicknames, but I don't love it as a nickname for Margot, perhaps because Margot doesn't share the "eh" sound found in Meg and at the end of Margaret, or perhaps because I prefer Margot nicknameless. That said, Margot nn Meg works well enough, and I think friendly, approachable Meg adds a lot of warmth to the combo.

I've never been a big fan of Margot. Meg is the only nickname for Margaret that I like, so if I wanted a Meg, I'd rather it be a nickname for Margaret than Margot. But I don't even like Margaret enough to do that. I like Meg much more than Margaret, but I can't see using a name I don't really like just to get to the nickname.

Margot is great, and doesn't deserve to be tainted with Meg.

Margot Anais sounds sophisticated, while Meg is very down-to-earth. I think it balances out nicely.I love Margot, especially when spelled Margo. Anais is pretty as well, but I imagine that it would be mispronounced on a frequent basis. As a middle name, that's less of an issue, though.

Margot is okay, but i get an old, stuffy image from it. Meg does combat this slightly I guessAnais is pretty, especially in the MN spot
