I would be excited, as Georgiana Wren is my favorite girl name! I'd also think of Mr. Darcy's little sister, since that's where I first heard it.

I think it's quite a pretty name. On a younger child, it would probably get shortened to 'Georgie' or something like that, though.

I'd think, "Cool! How lucky she is to be named Georgiana!"

I would marvel at the unusual sophistication of her parents' naming style.

I would think it was absolutely adorable. Because Georgina is popular where I like I am trying to warm up to Georgiana but personally I think it is too much, so I wouldn't use it, but to see it on somebody else's child I would think it was a great choice and they have good taste. However I hope she has a nickname because I do really think Georgiana is a bit of a mouthful. :)

It's in the same vein as more popular names like Isabella and Sophia and Olivia. It's just less common and it has a sweet charm to it while still sounding sophisticated.

I'd think that her parents must have more time at their disposal than I do! And I'd hope her friends would be the same. Otherwise she'd probably be in line for some or other nn.

I’d be absolutely delighted to meet a young girl named Georgiana. It’s a beautiful name. Georgiana was Darcy's little sister in Pride and Prejudice, so it evokes images of Elizabethan England for me.

I'd think it was nice too see the name used on a young girl. I think it's a pretty name, so I'd be happy.

Anyway it's ok, but too long and fancy seeming for my taste. I think it's better than Georgina, at any rate. I prefer Georgia though, as a feminine form of George. (I saw a girl of about 4 who was addressed as Georgia, just yesterday. Nice) Georgiana seems to me like a word "Georgian" feminized - a poetic word for things of George, or things of Georgia? - which is kind of weird. But if you wanted nn Georgie, it might work better than Georgia, because it cries harder to be shortened familiarly.

I'd think her parents had seen the film about Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire and/or that they are Daily Telegraph readers. I'd think they'd made a fine if rather too fussy choice, an over-elaborate Georgina - and I'd also wonder how people on reading her name would pronounce it, since I'm flummoxed on that score.

Well I like Georgia and Georgina a bit more but really I like all of them and would be excited to see an George name used.

I would think it was a shame her name wasn't Georgina, because I think Georgina is ten times prettier.
