I have a nephew named LucienIn general I think Lucien sound wise will go over great, it's not too pretentious imo. My nephew is Lucien Osiris and my sister gets tons of compliments on his name especially the Lucien part so I think Lucienne would be just as well received.

I really like Lucienne but I think I prefer Lucine / Lusine just because I think they're more usable. Not that Lucienne couldn't be pulled off I just think the pronunciation, although it's beautiful, is a bit awkward. It's a bit like Eulalie in that way for me - like the spelling isn't really all that confusing but I fear the pronunciation might get butchered. But maybe that's just me. Also, I just love the meaning of Lusine :)Lucienne Delilah

I was actually thinking exactly of Lucienne Maple or Mae, or Maple Lucienne (with the occasional nickname of Mae). Weird you mentioned it too as a favourite :P I also like a lot of those combos, particularly Lucienne Margot (even though it is very French) and Lucienne Dora. Thanks for the response :)
