Maya (or Maia) - It's alright. Seems like too much of an "easy" name (in the sense that it's almost a fall back. Not that said Maya is easy.)
Halkyone - Interesting. I like the look, but wish it was pronounced differently.
Daria - NMS. There's something unpleasing about it.
Emery - NMS, and just too...trendy, or something.
Eden - I like it. I probably would never use it, but if I did, it would be a middle name.
Ria - I don't particularly like the sound. Though it's snappy and spunky, given it's on the right person.
Aspen - Dislike. Everard - Also interesting. I don't think I would use it, but I do like it. The meaning is pretty neat in a warrior/hunter sort of way.
Cyrus - I like it.
Talon - Really dislike.
Sterling - This used to be in one of my favorite combos, Cornelius Sterling. I think there's something missing from it that I find in other male names I like, as if this one is less overtly masculine to me. But I do like it as a middle name.

I'm liking Maia, Eden and Cyrus.

Maya (or Maia): Very pretty. I prefer the Maia spelling, although Maya might be easier to live with. My son has a friend who spells it Mya.
Halkyone: It's interesting, if kinda unwieldy. I think it's better than Halcyone.
Daria: I really like it. Darius is one of my favorite male names. I don't like Daria as much, but I still think it's great.
Emery: I prefer Emory, and I prefer it on a boy. It's too reminiscent of manicures on a girl.
Eden: I like it. It has always sounded sort of artsy and free spirited to me, but I know many people think it sounds stripperish.
Ria: Looks like it was chopped off the end of Maria or Victoria. I don't think it stands well on its own.
Aspen: Nice enough, though I don't really like it. I always think of it as more of a place name than a botanical name. Everard: It's okay. I'm more of an Everett girl.
Cyrus: Great name!
Talon: Horrendous name! I can't get behind naming a child Claw, Fang, Beak, or any other body part predators use to rip into their prey; I don't get how Talon ever gained ground.
Sterling: Foppish. I picture a Sterling as having very soft hands, a weak chin, and an unhealthy relationship with his mother. I don't hate the name, but I'm never going to like it.

I think Maia is pretty. I'd never heard of it until college when I had a friend by that name. Funny that it's fairly common for little girls now. I like Emery on a boy. I like Everard and Sterling too, and go back and forth on whether or not I like Cyrus.

Maya (or Maia) -- getting to be beaten to death. I have no spelling preference. Used to be Maia, changed to Maya a couple of years ago, not really sure anymore. It just seems like Maya / Maia will be really tired soon. For me, they already are.
Halkyone -- the "lky" reminds me of "bulky," and the "Halky" reminds me of "chalky." Can't get on board. Halcyone, sure.
Daria -- It's nice, but nothing special
Emery -- Nope, I use an emery to file my nails
Eden -- Nice enough, but going to be dated someday
Ria -- trendy-sounding, wispy, insubstantial. Much, MUCH prefer Rhea.
Aspen -- Trendalicious, better suited to a dog.Everard -- Nice! Really unique and strong and cool.
Cyrus -- Blech, no. Not after Miley.
Talon -- I LOATHE this name. Talon? Really? Like a claw? Or what if your son DOESN'T turn out to be a low-grade sports car?
Sterling -- Pretentious and whiny.
