I think Violet works bestViolet Seraphine or Violet Matilda are gorgeousOther middle names you might like:

Naomi
Evelyn
Amity
Verity

Also one thing to think about is that Beckett and Violet/Scarlett are a bit ryhmey..

I think both Scarlett and Violet go great with Maddox and Beckett. Scarlett Matilda is brilliant and my favourite from that list. The repeated T sound is just perfect, as the rest of the syllables sound very different from each other. But I really like how the T sound pulls it together.I feel like Violet is a little more trendy, so I would steer clear of the very popular Sophia or Isobel as middle names. Violet Penelope is very jerky sounding, so I'd drop that one. Violet Seraphine is quite pretty, and the winner as far as I'm concerned. So, Scarlett Matilda and Violet Seraphine are my votes. Super pretty. But, for the record, I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with any of the other choices (besides the little nit-picky things).Good luck.

I like both Scarlett and Violet, my favourite middle name for both combos is Matilda - a name that I really like. I dislike Hattie and Penelope with Violet and Scarlett.
Have you thought of a double middle name, Scarlett Matilda Violet, or Violet Scarlett Matilda - or any combination of those - or another middle name?

We are actually considering 2 MNs. But I hadn't considered using both Scarlett & Violet in the same name. It's a bit, well, colorful :D I was considering Scarlett Rue Olivia for a while, b/c Scarlett Olivia would give her the initials of SOW and I just can't do it. Also Scarlett Rue Matilda.

Scarlett Rue Matilda would be my favourite because I adore the name Matilda. I think Rue sounds quite short and sharp in the middle, my preference would be that it comes last: Scarlett Matilda Rue / Scarlett Olivia Rue.

I actually chose it that way to offset our short, harsh, 1 syllable LN. The reason I won't do a 1 syllable FN or MN if there's only 1 is b/c our LN is so short and harsh. W---s. Otherwise I'm sure I'd agree with you ;)If we had 2 MNs this was the one way I could get to use one of my 1 syllable likes, like Rue.

I'm all for Scarlett Matilda.

Violet Isobel
Violet Seraphine
Scarlett is just a little on the trendy/less classy side in comparison to me.

I'd go with Violet Penelope or Violet Isobel :)

Violet and Scarlett are both way way too close to Beckett IMO. -ett is a strong sound so it stands out and I feel like Maddox is the odd one out.Scarlett Matilda
Scarlett VivienneViolet Sophia
Violet SeraphineAre my favourite combos.Out of all the options I'd choose Violet Seraphine.

Oh dear. I heartily dislike Scarlett Anyname and Violet Anyname just about equally.Of your mn choices, I would happily use Penelope, Isobel and Matilda in that order.I suppose that Scarlett might be a better partner for Maddox and Beckett than Violet. And perhaps it might be worth wondering if a Maddox and a Matilda make the best of partners. Though Matilda would be fine with Beckett ...Don't you think Scarlett Hattie sounds like a small red garment worn on the head? Violet Hattie, the same, only ... well ... violet!

LOL. I understand. Thanks for the input!

Violet Matilda is definitely my fave combo. I think both names are gorgeous and together they are so pretty. Second fave would be Violet Isobel with Scarlett Matilda a close third.

Scarlett Matilda -I like it.
Scarlett Penelope -Okay. I could take it or leave it.
Scarlett Hattie -I like both names, but I don't like the flow of this one.
Scarlett Vivienne -I'm voting for this one. It's lovely. Violet Sophia -Like this one, but keep in mind how trendy Sophia is.
Violet Isobel -eh. Not horrible, but not great.
Violet Penelope -Prefer Penelope with Scarlett.
Violet Seraphine -nmsaa. Seraphine is one of those names best left to literature and films. It doesn't sound friendly enough in real life.
Violet Hattie -Still not feeling Hattie with these despite the fact that I love Hattie.
Violet Matilda -Matilda goes better with Scarlett. I think my favourites are Scarlett Matilda and Scarlett Vivienne.

I'm not keen on the name Scarlett, sorry. But I love Violet. All of the Violet combinations are great, although Violet and Seraphine are the names of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's children. So that one might be a tad "star struck." How about Violet Sandrine instead? Sandrine is a variant of Alexandra / Alexandrine. If I had to list the remaining Violet combinations in order (most favorite first):Violet Matilda
Violet Isobel
Violet Hattie
Violet Penelope
Violet Sophia (I'm more of a Sophie fan. Violet Sophie?)Good luck!

This is exactly why I love posting here! I missed the Violet + Seraphine, Affleck-Garner combo! That def influences our decision. Not sure if it knocks it out, but something to consider for sure. And Violet Sophie is a great combo. I'd actually prefer 2 syllables + 2 syllables b/c my boys have this combo, but hadn't considered it. THANKS! (BTW, we say Violet with 2 syllables around here (Vi-let, not Vi-o-let).
