Ortilla ?

Does anyone know the meaning of the name "Ortilla" ? I've only seen it once. It was the first name (the full name is Ortilla Rahel) of a Jewish woman born in 1507 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Her father was born in Mainz, Germany.
I think that it sounds a bit like Ursula and Hortensia, and I’ve found there is a Spanish city called Ortilla, but I haven't found anything else. An idea?

Hi Claire,Ortilla looks like a form of Orthilda to me. Orthilda (other forms: Orthild, Orthilde) is an Old German name meaning "peak of a weapon" + "battle".Regards, Satu
