God, I used to LOVE the Lord of the Rings. I remembered more and less than I thought I did.
That explains Firiel! It's cool for that then. :)
Poor Pippin's siblings were mostly horribly named- except Pearl which is okay.
I do remember that Sam had a son named Tolman and "tollman" is german means like "crazy person" or something like that.
Tolkien must have had fun with names. The Brandybucks were my favourites.
