Merits: medieval looking. Quasi-androgynous first impression might amount to sex appeal on some bearers. +2
Demerits: sounds almost exactly like jostlin' (this is TWO demerits - it really puts me off a lot); shortens to Joss (uck, sounds oafish, like Josh); quite liable to be mistaken for feminine name and misspelled Jocelyn which would be a big liability for some bearers. -4
