I mentioned that Eunice too. I could not remember her last name for the life of me. That family was so dysfunctional. I don't know why I loved that show so much. As a seventh grader. Haha!

I loved it because the family was dysfunctional. It was refreshing to see in the 80's, when every other sitcom was gooey-sweet and taught you a lesson.

You know, that's probably why I liked it too. Mama was the absolute best though. Even as young as I was when I was watching it (and they were all reruns; I was too young to see the originals), I was like, "How can x, y, or z be so dumb?" Vicki Lawrence is a very talented woman.
