Anneliese
I am like...actually SURPRISED to find that I am suddenly in love with this name. I mean, I always kind of liked it, but now...I really, really love it. Really. I mean... It's soooo beautiful. It's complex. I like the complexity. I mean, it's REALLY QUITE complex for a name. I'm going to use it.

Love it! I like Annie as a nickname because Anneliese seems a bit complicated to be used as an everyday name for a young child. Great name :)

Good for you! I love Anneliese too. Which pronunciation are you using?

I love Anneliese with the ann-uh-LEES pronunciation. I'm not keen on ann-uh-LEE-suh, though.

It's my little sister's favourite name, she's obsessed by it. I like it, I like the numerous nickname possibilities.
My sister likes the spellings Annaliese and Annalise which helps with the way we pronounce it but I prefer the original spelling :)

My own fn is Annaliese "Anna" but I think the more traditional Anneliese is calmer and more elegant :) Nice to see someone likes the name. Would you pronounce it the German way, and would you use a nn?

I love Anneliese, but only with the German pronunciation, "anna-LEE-zeh" / "anna-LEE-zuh." The "anna-lees" way irritates my ears a little. It's cute to see you so in love with the name. Good for you. I hope you do get to use it, whatever pronunciation you use. :-D

Yay! I think Anneliese was my first name-crush that I can remember. I was probably 10 or 11 years old. I still like it, though with less passion than before.
