I love Louisa. I think it has more oomph than Louise but they're both lovely and underused. My older cousin is a Louise, who gets Lou mostly. And I went to school with a Louise "Weeze". It's relatively uncommon in my age group, but funny thing is I have a uni class right now with a Louisa and a Louise in it - there's about 25 in the class altogether, so it's odd!
