How would you say this name?
How would you pronounce this Arabic/Islamic name???
RaadAny idea's??? Really curious. I'm pronouncing it Rad ( R-ad) but don't know if it's right or not. Please help!!!

I'd say Rahd.I have an in-law relative named Saad, and everyone(Arabic speakers)say Sahd.

My DH speaks arabic and he says it would probably be rah-aad. Roll the 'r' sound, the first 'a' is like the sound in car and the second part of the name the 'a' would be like in apple.

I'd say it like RAHD. Similar to the word rod but with a little more ahh lol

I'd say it as: RHAH:D using the BtN pronunciation guide.Rolling R and a stretched AH sound.

ra-ad, with the first a long as in far and the second short as in apple. More emphasis on the second syllable than the first, but the first clearly contains an a and not a schwa. That's what I've heard where I live, but regional differences happen.

I'd pronounce it as RAHD (like the English word rod), but if I were trying to be more authentic, I'd also roll the R.
