Claire, because Clare looks masculine.
Catherine, because Kathryn is only two syllables and Catherine not only is more traditional (a good thing), but I pronounce it a bit differently.
Kay, because Kaye makes me almost want to say kay-ee.
Evelyn, because I do not like Aveline at all.
Sarah, because Sara looks incomplete.
Mark, because this is how it is spelled in an English-language Bible.
Luke, see Mark.
Jack, because it is more succinct and easier to spell.
Neve, because I, and a lot of other people where I live, do not really know how to pronounce Niahm.
Shawn or Sean -- I like both equally, but for a girl it should be Shawn.
Celine or Selene -- I don't like this name, and can't decide.
Christina, because there's no need for the self-conscious K.
Alan, because it is so much cleaner and more attractive.
