Well . . .
Annemarie is a combination of Anne and Marie, which are the same names as Anna and Maria, so the meaning is the same either way.If it's an Italian name it'll be a combo of Anna and Maria.

Thanks, and- (to Miranda as well)-Chrisell and Miranda, you may remember several weeks ago, when you corrected a very juvenile post of mine. I wish to thank you and assure you that I won't ever post a posts that is that juvenile again. I just wish to make sure that we're cool, because I hold a great deal of respect to both of you! It's been bugging me for a while. Also, what you said makes a lot of sense- thanks!Edit: Just in case, here's the link to that post: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=427110&board=gen

No problem! It was ultimately educational for you, and hopefully you've come to loathe those "baby name" sites as much as we do. ;-)
