Beyoncé
I'm sure someone has asked this before, but where does the name Beyoncé come from? It looks like "fake French" to me.Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the lights

I do know that Beyonce's mother's maiden name is "Beyince" and changed the spelling & pronounciation to give to her daughter. I don't know if that helps, but it's a start. =]

That's correctHere's the source article: http://snipurl.com/omww. Tina Beyince was Creole-French in origin, hence Beyoncé's middle name (Giselle) and her sister's fn (Solange).
