Gosh i just hate my name! Do any of you know any nick names that my friends could call me by??

How about Lee?
My dd calls herself Li (pn Lee ) when she want a nn. Her name is Lilian . Not that i think that a 2-syllabic name as Hayley need a nn. Short names like Grace and Rose get longer nn (Gracie and Rosie ). Long names like Elizabeth and Alexandra get shorter nn (Lizzie , Lexi etc). But Hayley is perfect and needs no nn imo.
My dds friends Linda , Emma , Anna and Lisa all go by their given names. I refuse to call her Li , to me she is always Lilian .
I think we have to learn to accept our names, just as we have to accept our parents and our looks (can be hard sometimes, i know). At least your name is not weird or unheard of.

I happen to think the name Hayley is pretty, but I do imagine that being called "Hay" can be aggrivating. I'm not as talented as Nanaea when it comes to anagrams and other cool names, but I'm going to give it a whirl. If you don't like, stick to Nanaea's "Rayney Blue" suggestion. It does have a nice ring to it!

The only thing that i don't like about it is the meaning of it. It means "field of hay" in English (boy now i know why Americans hate the British, LOL) But in scottland it means Heroine (the girl hero, not the drug, LOL) but the sad thing is that i'm part scottish AND part English!! SO i'm kinda both. But Erin (my middle name in a girls form) Means "Peace" in Irish. And i really like that but my mummy won't let me go by my middle name. =( waah! Oh, well. I still like Rayney Blue, Nanea!

What is so bad about Hayley?
Halyley seems to mean hay clearing and must be connected to the harvest of crops. It may just be me but harvest only bring fond memories and pretty sceneries to my mind.

I do all the time! But noooo they don't listen! 6th grade boyz alwayz to it to me to annoy me....and you know how 6th grade boyz are...stupid. LOL! What i really hate is my meaning...the english say that it means "Field of Hay" so that doesn't really make me feel good...but i like the scottish..because they say that my name means "Heroine" (the girl hero, not the drug) so i like the scottish meaning better than the English.

Well, I guess people could just holler "Hay!" when calling you. If your last name begins with the letter "U", they could holler: "Hay U.!" :)

Or you could give yourself the nick "Rayney Blue", leaving off the "Aloha" part and just saving it for formal occasions. :)

Very nice!! Man you are really creative! Yes i'm a girl it's just that i was named after my Grandfather for my middle name. Rayney Blue Aloha is really unique! Hehehehe i was kinda worried when you spelled my name "Haley " which most everybody does and it makes me really mad but i'm glad you corrected yourself! Hmmm i'm gonna think about the nicknames you suggested for a minute..gemme a minute and i'll write a response..LOL
