Pavlos, I know that in Latin (most) flowers are masculine in gender, and trees feminine - does the same apply to Greek? Or is the masculine name Ion a coincidence?

To Ion (neuter gender)
O Hyakinthos (masculine gender)
H Orchidea (feminine gender)
