Re: Gender of "moon" and "sun" in different languages?
in reply to a message by Andy
In Vietnam, the moon is a "she", a sister: Hang.
In Sweden (where I live), the moon is a man ("man in the moon").
The Mapuche Indians of Chile and Argentina talks about Father Sun and Mother Earth.
