Actually I came across her doing a search for the name on www.google.com, I believe they were census records. I was hoping to find out more information on the name for you, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

The came across a woman named Recinicus Bennett or Benoit. But that led me nowhere on the meaning. I then exchanged the 2nd c to a v on a whim, creating Recinivus, which then led me to Recidivus, which is Latin and means, "To fall back, to relapse to a former condition or habit"Not really what you were looking for, but thats the closet I've gotten to it.
