Subject: What is the worst thing you've ever done to your hair?

I'm scheduled to get another haircut later this month (going with a chin-length bob this time), and I thought it would be funny to hear some bad hair stories. When did your hair look its worst, and how did it get that way? Did you do it yourself, or was it a stylist's fault?

I think the worst my hair has EVER looked is when my stepfather's sister teased and sprayed it so much, I looked like Peggy Bundy. It was awful. I was in the fifth grade, and she got me excited by telling me I was going to look so grown up and glamorous. Clearly, she had no idea what she was doing. :P
