1. yeah occassionally if its my husband or my brother.

2. I think there are a few meanings of gay. I use it quite a lot to mean weak or lame, and most of my friends are gay. It doesn't really matter to them. I don't think its insulting, its just a word and words change their meanings all the time! Look at the initial meaning of the word gay.
